Our Topic Today is a blessed one
"Fatherhood"
It simply means the state of being a father
 Any man can impregnate...but it takes Responsibility to be a father

Fatherhood is a calling... God himself has call every man to be a father
Our world is full of disgrace today...cos a father has refused to follow the path of Grace
The Father is a king..the source and the sustainer. Which means it's not enough to start a family...
Are you Responsible?
By the way...fatherhood starts from the youthful season. It does not start when you have a family
Inside every man is father potential... If nutured it will be grace for fatherhood
God told us in I Corinthians 11:3

The ranking for the home
God
Christ
Man
Woman

We need to always take reference from God. He's the father whom the whole family on earth is named. God told us to take Abraham as a standard for fatherhood. Meaning as a father you must be a man of faith. Meaning in your family.... 3 Things must be present

1.Righteousness
2.Peace
3.Joy in the Holy Ghost
 Or can we also go this way
1.love of God
2.Grace of our lord Jesus
3.fellowship of the holy spirit

Every father must be a man of faith. Let me get personal now. One of the best gift I can give to my son is to marry a good woman. From the time of our youth, before we get married let's learn to do things because God's word said it not what you feel.
We are to teach our family in the way of God not our way, Abraham was obedient to God....Isaac was obedient to Abraham

Back to my points
1..Righteousness, do things in line with God's word
2.Peace...Jesus is the Prince of Peace let him be your head then you be the head of your wife
You must always be as Jesus is to you. Christ must be formed in every father for him to enjoy his home

How will you say you love Jesus and be beating your wife? The lordship of Jesus is love. Love her....love her and love her. God told me one day..that to make my children love and respect me...I should just love my wife. Simple. Carry your family along in what you do.
If Christ is not formed in you yet, don't go into a relationship. Signs that Christ is formed in you
*You should known your purpose
Jesus knew his purpose. Jesus was love on two legs.

3.Joy in the holy Ghost
To be a good father, you must be on point with all the fruit of the spirit
Love is what holy spirit works in people, not anger.

Also, the Seven pillars a home hold on. They are Seven.
I feel they are what God was referring to when he used the rainbow. Rainbow has 7 colors
When God sees these 7 pillars in a family he gets excited
Isaiah 11:1
1.The spirit of the lord
2.Wisdom
3.Understanding
5 Councel
4.Knowledge
7 The fear of the lord
6  Might

Consult these seven pillars before you take any step, so that flood won't sweep away your family
Everyman must also know these information about his family:
1. What is My Family inheritance?
2. When people are born into this family what are their automatic inheritance?
Jesus told us his own ooo. You must know for your family.
You can't say you are a father leading your family and you don't know the destines of your children.

You have to ask God, including your wife. Jacob told his sons their destiny before he died

You must do the will of God..and make your children do it.
Give us this day, our daily bread.
